We can take you from no experience of boat driving to having an International Certificate of Competence (ICC) that offers proof of competence to operate pleasure craft (including towed water sports) in international waters.

To get you there, we offer boat driving lessons through our ‘Learn To Drive’ sessions and when competent you can take two different qualifications.

The Ski Boat Driver Level 1 (SBD1)
SPD1 is designed for anyone who wishes to drive unsupervised for water skiing and/or other associated disciplines, it is, for many, the starting point on the ski boat driver pathway. It is considered the benchmark standard to drive at inland clubs throughout the UK.

Ski Boat Driver Level 2 (SBD2)
SBD2 is formal proof of boat driving ability for driving on coastal waters. Some of the benefits of taking the SBD2 include being issued with an International Certificate of Competence (ICC), which is recognised for driving a ski boat in European coastal and inland waters.
