Before attempting to pass the SBD1 or SBD2 tests, a candidate should be a competent boat driver with experience of towing skiers or wakeboarders. Without this experience, you will need to take some Ski Boat Driving Lessons before booking a test.

If you are an experienced boat driver and feel you may be ready to book a test, you can book a Ski Boat Driving Assessment for a much lower cost. Our examiner will review your performance and provide honest feedback as if you are ready or not.

You can book individual Ski Boat Driving lessons at £35 per 15 minute session, or you can book a block of ten lessons for £300. A Ski Boat Driving Assessment for £35 and the assessment will last 15 minutes.
